Rain caused a second cancellation of the Zia Town Series mountain bike short-track cross country race Wednesday at Ska Brewing.

Organizers previously had to postpone the Ska Eliminator event June 10 and rescheduled for Wednesday, but rain returned to the Durango area and forced a second cancellation.

A third makeup date will be attempted in September, when the race series hits its busiest stretch of races.

The Donkey Ditch Enduro is scheduled for Spet. 2, followed by the Raiders Ridge Enduro Sept. 9. Then will come the Hogshead Enduro Sept. 16 and the Shocker Enduro on Sept. 23. The final event is the Star Wars Enduro Strikes Back event Sept. 30.

There are divisions for A and B class riders. The short-track cross country event costs $5 per entry, with enduro’s costing $10.
