Garden netting leads to unpleasant task

Beware of garden netting! I thought nothing of putting up some plastic garden netting on one of my planter boxes to keep the squirrels out. Recently I spent a harrowing 20 minutes with an X-acto knife, freeing a royally ticked-off snake that had become thoroughly entangled in the netting. Yes, there are videos on YouTube showing how to do this.

Fortunately the snake had been discovered by my dogs shortly after becoming entangled, so was still in very good condition and able to go about his business once freed. All of the plastic netting went straight into the trash can.

Please everyone, take precautions. This was not an enjoyable task!
