Tyler McKnight helps install solar panels Thursday morning at Mountain Middle School. He’s carrying one of 164 panels that will supply all the school’s current electrical needs. According to Head of School Shane Voss, the using solar power is an important step toward the goal of making the school achieve Net Zero status in the near future. Net Zero means the school produces as much electricity as it consumes.
