Dylan Redwine's family appears again on Dr. Phil

Via phone, Mark Redwine denies killing his son
A scene from the May 20 episode of 'Dr. Phil.' Elaine Hatfield and Cory Redwine were interviewed on the show about the disappearance and murder of Dylan Redwine. Mark Redwine called into the show and denied killing his son.

The mother and brother of missing Dylan Redwine say they believe Dylan's father, Mark Redwine, moved his remains after killing him.

The 13-year-old boy was on a court-ordered visit to his father's house in Vallecito before Thanksgiving of 2012 when he disappeared.

Elaine Hatfield and her eldest son, Cory Redwine, appeared on a second episode of "Dr. Phil" on May 20.

They first appeared on the show on Feb. 26 and 27, 2013, before some of Dylan's remains were found up Middle Mountain Road. Those were found in late June 2013.

Mike Hall, Hatfield's fiance, said on the second show that the family came to believe during the taping of the 2013 episode that Mark Redwine killed his son.

"I find it very frustrating that Mark is still walking the streets," Hall said on the show.

Hatfield said she believes Mark Redwine killed their son, then later moved his remains from Middle Mountain. Cory Redwine said the same thing.

Mark Redwine still denies having anything to do with his son's death.

Via a telephone call to the show, Mark Redwine denied that he refused to take a polygraph test on the 2013 show. Dr. Phil offered to fly out a polygraph expert anywhere to give Redwine the test. Redwine said he did not think it was necessary.

Elaine asked to walk through her ex-husband's house with sheriff's investigators to recreate the scene of his son's disappearance.

Redwine again denied that would help further the case.

"You have done nothing to help us find Dylan," Hatfield said.

"I don't owe the nation an explanation," Mark Redwine responded.

"No, you own Dylan that explanation!" Cory Redwine angrily replied as members of the audience clapped.

Dr. Phil read an April 11 statement from the La Plata County Sheriff's Office saying the case is still under active investigation.
