Durangoan discusses Ayurvedic health, signs copies of his first book

After graduating from Durango High School and then Fort Lewis College, Noah Volz traveled the world, and now he owns an Ayurvedic clinic in California called Rhythm of Healing.

He will be home for the holidays to visit his parents, Bill and Tamara Volz, and while in Durango on Tuesday, he will sign copies of his first book, New Year Re-Solution: A 14-day Ayurvedic Program to Lose Weight and Feel Your Best.

The book is designed to help people find balance in sleep, mental alertness, energy and weight using Ayurvedic principles, he said.

Ayurvedic medicine is a holistic approach to wellness developed in India. According to Ayurvedic principles, good health is when a person’s mind, body and spirit are in harmony with the universe.

Volz also is the creator of the Yoga for Cleansing DVD.
