4 Corners Trailers opens in Gem Village outside Durango

Southwest Ag opens satellite store featuring Diamond C Trailers
Laura Hillyer, manager of 4 Corners Trailers, says the store features Diamond C Trailers.

If you have a rugged tractor and cool four-wheelers and snowmobiles, you need a decent utility trailer to move them, right?

After years of customers asking for trailers to haul their tractors and equipment, Southwest Ag in Gem Village has opened a trailer division.

4 Corners Trailers opened across the highway from Southwest Ag in February and has been steadily adding new and used inventory to its showroom. The company features Diamond C Trailers, which manager Laura Hillyer said were chosen for their durability and heavy-duty construction to handle our weather and roads.

“We are a full-service shop,” Hillyer said, “with parts, repairs, lighting, hitches, axles and wheels that anyone might need for their trailers.”

“It’s a quality product at a competitive price,” Hillyer said of Diamond C. To provide more value, every trailer at 4 Corners includes options such as spare tires, LED lighting and treated wood finishes, and there is no surcharge for freight, either. Even with the extras, 4 Corners still offers prices below the manufacturer’s retail price.

“People always wanted trailers with their tractors, so we’re a satellite store of Southwest Ag,” Hillyer said. The company also offers tractor-trailer packages. The trailer business is in a former boat showroom that the previous owner sold to Southwest Ag when he retired.

4 Corners Trailers is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and can be reached at 884-2828 or www.4cornerstrailers.com.

With the added showroom space, SWAG also moved in some of its Yamaha golf carts and Berg commercial go-karts to display to customers.
