Massive project on display

Mountain Middle School seventh-grade student Sam Atchison adjusts a gear on a massive mechanical representation of his class’ exploration of science and humanities. The class studied cells, germs, DNA and viruses in science and human population distribution in humanities. The massive, geared representation of their studies was presented by the entire class Thursday evening at the school, 108 W. 31st St., and will remain on permanent display. Atchison is the son of Scott and Cindy Atchison.
