Kurt Schneider, who was the Four Corners Office for Resource Efficiency (4CORE) lead in developing the Solarize La Plata program, has been named the organization’s executive director.

He replaces Gregg Dubit, who was with 4CORE for five years – three of those as executive director. Dubit will leave at the end of October to work as a private consultant in the energy field.

Schneider has been with 4CORE since September 2013. He was instrumental in developing Solarize La Plata, a program that brought solar-panel installations to 101 residences in La Plata County.
