Schell has unmatched qualities for LPEA

Please vote for Lori Schell for the LPEA District 2 board of directors position. She is by far the most experienced, knowledgeable and highly active policy person who has ever run for a seat.

Schell brings 30 years of diverse work as an energy economist across private industry and government for the U.S. Department of Energy and Los Alamos National Laboratory. She also has worked on several boards of directors for energy corporations. She is past president and senior fellow of the U.S. Association for Energy Economics.

She holds a doctorate in mineral economics and operations research. She is passionate about natural resource economics and quantification of related issues. She has done economic research on many different types of emerging energy technologies.

Her goals are to move LPEA toward a sustainable energy future and maintain rates as low as possible for consumers, while keeping LPEA systems reliable. When anyone says, “The impact is too large” or “The cost is too high,” her response is “How large is the impact,” and “How high is the cost?” Followed by, “What are the trade-offs?” Her professional experience and directions are exactly what we need on the board of directors.

Vote for Lori Schell for the LPEA District 2 board of directors seat.
