Turner and Schell are uniquely qualified

Electric rates and decisions affect us all. Why, then, are so few eligible households and businesses voting? The ballots come straight to our doorsteps, but an average of only 25 percent of folks bother to return them. The majority of households just moan about enormous changes to rates and feel powerless to be heard.

Vote. You’ll be one of fewer than 1,000 people who choose the candidate to represent your district on the LPEA board! Two La Plata County candidates are uniquely qualified, and either deserves three minutes from you to support them.

Jack Turner is an incumbent who knows the real LPEA finances and believes strongly that more power can be generated right here in the county.

Lori Schell has one of the most impressive energy backgrounds I’ve seen, and has a long reputation of working “across the aisle.”

Please vote.
