“Snowdown Follienesia” will be a beach-themed evening of entertainment to benefit Snowdown Board Emeritus Bob Larson.

Larson recently suffered a spinal injury that left him paralyzed from the waist down. The event runs from 6-10 p.m. Aug. 5 at the Durango Elks Lodge, 901 East Second Ave.

Classic Snowdown Follies acts and skits will be included, as well as appetizers, a cash bar, Jell-o shots, raffle, live/silent auction with tickets to the 2017 Snowdown Follies on the auction block and much more.

Tickets are $25 each and will go on sale at 7 a.m. July 23 at Magpies Newsstand, 707 Main Ave.
