An Open Championship to be remembered

When was the last time you woke up early on a summer Sunday? Oh, you say it was this past Sunday. Smart choice, wasn’t it?

If you got up and tuned into the British Open, you witnessed perhaps the best “Duel at Troon” between Henrik Stenson and Phil Mickelson. And you thought mystery thrillers put you on the edge of your seat. There have been many words describing the final round action at The Open, and boring was not one of them. You saw the developing story line on moving day, and Sunday was no disappointment as the field of many was reduced to the drive of two. Yes, Phil had a hard time wrapping his thoughts around finishing runner-up for the 11th time in a major, but this event will be one that stamps the game of golf for decades to come.
