PGA Championship at a glance

Rory McIlroy hit a shot out of the water on the fifth hole during the first round of the PGA Championship. He stuck the shot 7 feet below the pin and made a putt to get up-and-down for par.

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – A look at Thursday’s first round of PGA Championship at 7,501-yard, par-72 Whistling Straits:

Leading: Dustin Johnson, who shot 66.
