What a shame to remove the Arc of History from its site. Most Durangoans enjoyed the fun residents have had with it.

Who hasn’t smiled driving by and looking for any changes to it?

Are we so pretentious that we care what newcomers driving into the city think of our choice of artwork at the intersection of our city?

The vandals have won. I, for one, am going to miss it and feel a real sadness that it came down.
