Canadian-based indigenous group “A Tribe Called Red” will perform at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College, 1000 Rim Drive. The trio blends hip-hop, traditional powwow drums and vocals, and electronic/club music.

The group is part of the Idle No More movement for Aboriginal rights, and has won Breakthrough Group of the Year at the Juno Awards (The Canadian Grammys), as well as making the Washington Post’s top 10 albums of the year list.
