Library offers after-school program for teens

The Durango Public Library offers Tuesday Teen Time for ages 12-18 every Tuesday when school is in session.

The Durango Public Library offers Tuesday Teen Time for ages 12-18 every Tuesday when school is in session.

Teens are invited to drop in from 4 to 5 p.m. for crafts, games and snacks. No registration required. The schedule follows:

Nov. 1, Perler Beads, make fun designs out of colorful fuse beads.Nov. 8, Candy & Sandwich Sushi, make and eat creative variations on classic sushi.Nov. 15, Touchscreen Gloves, learn how to make any gloves into touchscreen gloves, a limited supply of gloves will be provided, or bring your favorites.Nov. 29, Trivia, brush up on your trivia skills and win some fun prizes.Dec. 6, Make and take gifts, learn to make your own DIY cocoa mix, bath scrubs and other fun creative gifts.Dec. 13, Sriracha test kitchen, pair this spicy condiment with all kinds of interesting foods, curious taste buds recommended.For more information, contact Teen Services Librarian Corinna Manion at 375-3397 or corinna.manion@durangogov.org.Herald Staff
