I had the chance to meet Gail Schwartz in Durango. She is running against Scott Tipton for the U.S. House, in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District. She is very focused on issues affecting our district – water, public lands, oil and gas, and agriculture.

She clearly has a ton of expertise and experience on these topics. What impressed me was her balanced approach to solving problems facing the Western Slope.

My limited experience with Rep. Tipton has been his relatively tone deaf response to constituents on the other side of the issues. Visit her website and let’s send her to Washington, folks!
