San Juan Angler fly-fishing shop will host a free Fly Fishing 101 class from 10-11:30 a.m. June 11 at the Pine River Library.

Learn the basics of setting up a fly rod, beginner casting skills and entomology.

San Juan Angler’s guides will provide all the gear, equipment and tackle needed for the class. Participants who want to practice on their own rods should bring them.

Preregistration is required. Stop by the library or call 884-2222, ext. 1, to register for the class.
