    Creative writing class for middle schoolers

    “Creative Writing for Middle Schoolers,” a class by Rachel Turiel, will be held from 3 to 4:15 p.m. Mondays from Nov. 3 to Dec. 8.

    There will be no class Nov. 24. Through writing exercises and assignments, participants will explore the magic of language and storytelling.

    Turiel is managing editor of Edible Southwest Colorado Magazine, frequent contributor to NPR’s “Earth Notes” and a columnist for The Durango Herald.
