Dowling is the regional president of the Bank of Colorado, overseeing operations in the Durango and Pagosa Springs branches as well as at Pinnacle Bank in Gallup, N.M. He is a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War and earned his Master's of Business Administration from the University of Denver.
Bacon is a senior partner in Korn/Ferry's Leadership and Talent Consulting group in the firm's Colorado office, and he specializes in business and professional development. He is the author of nearly 100 books, scripts and published papers in his field, is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and earned his Ph.D. from American University.
Marquez is a vice president with Butte Companies and is the general manager of Silver Peaks Condominiums. She comes to Durango from the Phoenix area, where she was a board member for several community organizations including the Urban Land Institute and the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center. She also is the president of The Sterling Companies in Durango, a new real estate firm that offers property management, concierge and brokerage services.
Music in the Mountains, Durango's summer classical music festival, will enter its 24th season in 2010.
