While the scene has shifted away from Main Street, the San Juan Citizens' Alliance sixth annual Oktoberfest is not any less festive than previous incarnations, which evoke memories of its namesake that has taken place in a German meadow every year since 1810.

Oktoberfest continues today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  on East Second Avenue between Seventh and Eighth Streets. There is no charge for admission, and beer and food will be available through the purchase of special event tokens. For more information, visit www.sanjuancitizens.org
