The annual Fort Lewis College Cyclocross Series is ready for a return engagement.
The cyclocross racing events are produced by Fort Lewis College Cycling, with sponsorships from Durango Coca-Cola and Animas Orthopedics/Rivergate Sports Medicine. The series will begin Nov. 1 with the FLC NightCross races at Ray Dennison Memorial Field on the Fort Lewis College campus.
Racing will move to Dolores on Nov. 8 with events scheduled in Cortez on Nov. 15 and Aztec on Nov. 21.
On Nov. 22, racing will return to Durango with an event at Santa Rita Park.
On Dec. 5, the Russell the Musclecross races will be staged at Buckley Park in downtown Durango.
The Series Finals will be held Dec. 6 at the FLC stadium.
The races will be held in the late afternoon/early evening hours with specific start times to be released later.
There will be three divisions and starting times for each event: MenA/40-plus, Kid’s/MTB and Men’s B/Open Women.
