District attorney candidate Todd Risberg has raised about $4,900 more than his Republican challenger Russell Wasley.

According to the Colorado Secretary of State, Wasley had raised $8,111 compared with Risberg's $13,017 in the 6th Judicial District race. The figures are from the beginning of their campaigns through Oct. 22 - the end of the most recent filing period - and include in-kind contributions.

About 18 people have contributed to Wasley's campaign, while about 80 individuals contributed to Risberg's campaign.

"I think it represents the broad support from Republicans and Democrats," Risberg said.

"There are a lot of people here who understand the problems and what is at stake in the election."

Wasley's biggest supporter is himself. He has given $6,326 to his own campaign, or about 78 percent of the total donations.

Wasley did not return a phone call seeking comment.
