Animal Control

Sunday
12:41 a.m. A caller on Spruce Mesa Drive said his dog died and wanted to know how to dispose of it.

10:06 a.m. A terrier was injured in the 2400 block of West Third Avenue.

12:42 p.m. Three horses and two pigs were on the road in the 300 block of Junction Creek Road (County Road 204) .

Saturday
5:19 p.m. Two horses were in the road on County Road 521, south of Bayfield.

Sunday
1:53 a.m. A man was passed out near East Fifth Avenue and Fourth Street.

3:32 a.m. Leaves were on fire near East Third Avenue and Ninth Street.

Saturday
6:49 p.m. A motorcycle accident occurred in the east 600 block of Second Street.

7:59 p.m. A resident returned home after a month away to find a screen slashed in the 2400 block of West Second Avenue.

9:47 p.m. Seven or eight juvenile boys were in the area of Primrose Circle knocking on doors and throwing things at vehicles.

10:30 p.m. A caller was hit in the leg by a type of airgun shot out of a vehicle near Main Avenue and Fifteenth Street.

11:47 p.m. A caller said a large, noisy party was out of control near West Fifth Avenue and 33rd Street.

Sunday
11:58 a.m. A resident called about a neighbor’s garage on the caller’s property in the 10500 block of Colorado Highway 172.

Saturday
4:39 p.m. An injured deer was in a field in the 8100 block of County Road 203, north of Durango.

5:14 p.m. A motorcycle accident with injuries occurred in the 15500 block of north U.S. Highway 550, south of Durango.

7:37 p.m. About 30 cows were on the road in the 17400 block of County Road 501.

 

Bayfield Marshal

Sunday
12:37 a.m. A large, loud party was reported in the 900 block of north Oak Drive.

2:42 p.m. A rifle was stolen from a truck on Los Pinos Drive.

Saturday
8:26 p.m. A caller, suspecting a gas leak, felt dizzy and nauseous in the 300 block of east Dakota Drive.

3:32 a.m. Leaves were on fire near East Third Avenue and Ninth Street.
