Animal Control

 

Saturday

11:46 p.m. A person bitten by a dog was in the emergency room.

Durango Police

Sunday

12:02 a.m. Two men were fighting in the 600 block of East Second Avenue.

12:14 a.m. Two people got a cab ride from a bar to the Durango Lodge, but they refused to pay.

4:41 a.m. A man was passed out in a hallway at the General Palmer Hotel.

11:20 a.m. A bicycle was found in the 500 block of East Ninth Avenue.

2:48 p.m. A driver in a Suburu wagon hit a bike and vehicle, and then the driver fled near East Fourth Avenue and College Drive.

Saturday

5:20 p.m. A man fell and was bleeding from the face in the west 100 block of 10th Street.

6:26 pm. An iPod and several other items were stolen in the 2700 block of Main Avenue.

9:53 p.m. A person broke a window and was inside at Mountain Sun Apartments, in the 1200 block of Florida Road.

La Plata County Sheriff

Sunday

2:33 a.m. A caller on Stage Crest Lane said his roommate was intoxicated and hitting him.

8:45 a.m. A man tried to go through airport security with ammunition.

4:20 p.m. A four-wheeler was being repossessed from an owner who wasn’t aware in the 9800 block of Wildcat Canyon Road (County Road 141).

7:48 p.m. Some items were taken from a house in the lower 100 block of Trail Wood Drive in Durango West I.

11:25 p.m. A Winchester lever-action rifle was taken in the 5000 block of County Road 509, south of Bayfield.

Sunday

3:16 p.m. A person was stealing pumpkins from Bayfield Elementary School.

Saturday

6:34 p.m. Four or five cows were in the road in the 6000 block of County Road 501.

Sunday

3:19 p.m. A small fire caused by fireworks was burning in the 100 block of Summer Lane.

Fort Lewis College

Saturday

4:27 p.m. A 21-year-old man had a broken clavicle at Dirks Field.

4:46 p.m. A caller’s wallet was found without a signed check in it.

8:01 p.m. Two intoxicated men with a small child were at the Concert Hall.
