Animal Control

Saturday

1:23 p.m. Three dogs were loose in the 1300 block of Florida Road.

Friday

4:16 p.m. A white dog was loose at Florida Road and Jameson Drive.

Saturday

12 a.m. A taxi customer disembarked on Primrose Circle without paying.

2:56 a.m. Two 25-year-old women were taken to Mercy Regional Medical Center after an incident in the 600 block of Camino del Rio in which at least one of the women was pepper sprayed.

8:41 a.m. Construction cones and barriers had been run over at East Third Avenue and 32nd Street. An extra patrol was put in place.

11:36 a.m. A woman was talking to herself and trying to get into other cars in the 1100 block of South Camino del Rio.

2:44 p.m. A large group of very loud motorcycles was roaring in the 700 block of Main Avenue.

2:49 p.m. A Lexus was struck in a parking lot in the 1100 block of South Camino del Rio.

Friday

4:01 p.m. An assault was reported in the 5800 block of Main Avenue.

6:11 p.m. A 20-year-old man stole items from his parents' house in the 1900 block of Eastlawn Avenue.

 6:26 p.m. A woman in a parked vehicle at East Second Avenue and 18th Street appeared to be distressed. She may have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

8:56 p.m. A drunken man pulled his pants down in the 1400 block of Main Avenue.

10:01 p.m. A 50-year-old man was conscious and breathing after intentionally shooting himself in the face in the 200 block of Animas View Drive.

11:32 p.m. Two females fought in the 600 block of East Third Avenue, and one hit the other in the nose.

Saturday

1:23 a.m. A man had not returned from a hunting camp near Purgatory. He called to say he was hiking out because of unspecified problems.

3:20 p.m. A tenant stole a bed in the 15600 block of U.S. Highway 172, near Ignacio.

Friday

4:47 p.m. Two men suspiciously were checking out radios at Durango Fire & Rescue Authority Station 6, 31263 U.S. Highway 550, north of Durango.

8:42 p.m. A driver was stopped for passing in a no-passing zone in the 4000 block of County Road 318, west of Ignacio.

3:24 p.m. Several items were vandalized at Snyder Hall.

Friday

10:52 p.m. A residence hall staffer reported an intoxicated, underage person in West Hall.
