Donald E. McLaughlin
Mr. McLaughlin was born to James and Eva McLaughlin in Durango on Feb. 2, 1951. He graduated from Durango High School in 1969 and the Colorado School of Mines in 1973.
He married Karen Taylor in Dallas.
Mr. McLaughlin worked for Mobil Oil for 25 years and for ExxonMobil until his retirement in 2006.
He enjoyed golfing and skiing.
Mr. McLaughlin is survived by his wife of 33 years, Karen McLaughlin, of Loveland; daughter, Megan McLaughlin, of Denver; brothers Roy McLaughlin, Ron McLaughlin and Robert McLaughlin, all of Durango; sister, Ruth Klaich, of Grand Junction.
