Wanda Marie Olsen
Mancos resident Wanda Marie Olsen died at Mercy Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009. She was 82.
Mrs. Olsen was born to Clifford and Mae Hixson Paris near Braggs, Okla., on Sept. 25, 1927. She had lived in Mancos for the last year and a half.
Mrs. Olsen is survived by her daughter, Lynne Lewis, of Mancos; son, Larry Olsen, of Calhan; sister, Rita Grable, of Maumelle, Ark.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, at the Mancos Church of Christ, 601 Railroad Ave. Burial will take place in South Bethel Cemetery in Braggs.
