Emery Cowan has been with the Herald since 2010. She has written for the Greeley Tribune, the Colorado Springs Gazette, Delicious Living magazine and the University of Colorado's alumni magazine, the Coloradan. She graduated from the University of Colorado with degrees in journalism and Spanish.
