The Colorado Drought Task Force will hold a public listening session at 4:15 p.m. Monday at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.

The meeting was called in response to exceptionally dry conditions that have persisted since last fall in Southwest Colorado. The task force will hear from people who have been affected by the drought and provide suggestions for response and recovery measures.

The event is free and open to all.
