Faith required for religion, atheism alike

Philosopher David Hume, who claimed to be an atheist, implied that religion is reasonable but not rationally justifiable.

Using the same logic I would say that atheism is reasonable but not rationally justifiable. It cannot be proven by mathematics or scientific method that there is a God. Neither can it be proven by mathematics or scientific method that there is no God.

It follows that faith is required for those who believe there is a God as well as those who believe there is no God.
