Farmington police investigate report of shots fired at Wells Fargo

Police find 9mm casings; no suspect information released

Farmington police are investigating a report of shots fired at about 2 a.m. Wednesday at the Wells Fargo building at the corner of South Commercial Avenue and Broadway.

Police found 9mm shell casings at the scene and interviewed witnesses, according to spokeswoman Shanice Gonzales.

“We have no suspect information at this time,” Gonzales said. She added that there are “no reports of any injuries.”

The investigation remains active, and police are searching for a suspect.
