The Durango Herald (Dec. 31) reported again that Eric T. Zwart and another person died from an overdose of heroin. It should have reported residents of Durango are dying from heroin being sold that has been cut with Fentanyl, which is approximately 100 times more potent than morphine.
Why make people look like dirtbags and irresponsible when there are a lot of people in this town I have found who are addicted to opiates? Report the facts and save some lives. Durango is a wonderful place to visit and live, but we have to take care of our residents.
The Durango Herald needs to report the whole story – not just drag the families who have lost their loved ones through the mud.
