Since when did George Thompson start worrying about personal attacks (Letters, Herald, Dec. 11)? Over the years, he has lobbed more than his fair share of criticism bordering on insult. No need to worry about Mike Sigman (Letters, Nov. 15); he can speak for himself. As a matter of fact, Sigman’s steady stream of letters concerning the Herald’s climate change coverage often begs for a response, just like Thompson’s. Thompson’s grasp of factual information concerning the subject is sorely lacking. Those so-called sources he cites are basically someone’s ridiculous opinion; don’t confuse those with actual science, scientific thought and rigor. I wish him good luck with his opinion. May he continue to shout it from the rooftops – he’s entitled to. Just don’t confuse it with the facts.
