Concerning the question of where to put the new sewage facility, I can see without much effort, that there is a very obvious place cozied up to the Animas-La Plata project.
I cannot understand that this option is not on the table or in the realm of consideration, it is close to the present location and yet isolated by natural boundaries.
I suspect that Durango can work out a solution to acquire a piece of this mostly unused area and thus find a real purpose for it that can truly benefit the town.
