Mesa Verde National Park is a finalist for Sunset magazine's first Travel Award for Best Cultural Attraction. The park is up against Music in the Mountains, Portland's LanSu Chinese Gardens and Seattle's Museum of History and Industry. They made the cut from applications from 13 Western states and British Columbia and Alberta, Canada. The winner will be announced in the June 2015 issue of Sunset.
