County fair names its queen

Brenn Jeter, center, was crowned Queen of the Montezuma County fair during a ceremony Friday evening. Rachel Romine was crowned Junior Queen, and Brooke Romine was crowned Princess. As fair Queen, Brenn earned a $1,000 college scholarship from the fair board, along with the crown, belt buckle and soft shell jacket. Brenn is flanked by fair sponsors Ricky King of State Farm and Linda Johnson of GST Liquors. Category winners include Autumn Seeber for Best Scrapbook, Kendall Simmons for Best Speech and Best Modeling, and Kendall Colcord for Best Interview.
