Park St., to transport a woman on a warrant to the Montezuma County Detention Center.<\/p>\n<p>11:47 a.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for a warrant service on a man already in custody.<\/p>\n<p>An officer responded to Centennial Park, 800 E. Montezuma Ave., for a welfare check on people sleeping in the grass. A man was arrested for trespassing in city parks after being banned and possession of alcohol in the park. He had a BRAC of .400<\/p>\n<p>11:50 a.m.: Officers responded to Plaza Laundry, 1419 E. Main St., for a domestic violence in progress. The suspect fled on a motorcycle, was pursued and arrested. A woman reported being threatened and having her vehicle windows hit. The man was arrested on suspicion of harassment, domestic violence, vehicle eluding, driving while license suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia and introducing contraband.<\/p>\n<p>10:20 p.m.: An officer responded to Geer Natural Area, 25502 Road L, for a suspicious vehicle after park hours. A woman was arrested on two warrants and transported to the Montezuma County Detention Center.<\/p>\n<p>11:22 p.m.: An officer responded to the Econo Lodge, 2020 E. Main St., for a reported domestic violence incident involving strangulation. A man was arrested after the woman reported being strangled and threatened with a firearm.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Friday, July 3<\/div>\n<p>2:06 p.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., for a warrant service on a man for failure to appear.<\/p>\n<p>4:01 p.m.: An officer responded to Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., and arrested a man for trespassing in city parks while in violation of bond conditions.<\/p>\n<p>8:17 p.m.: An officer responded to City Market, 508 E. Main St., for indecent exposure after observing a man with his buttocks exposed in public. The man resisted and was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and resisting arrest.<\/p>\n<p>8:40 p.m.: An officer initiated a traffic stop on a motorcycle on East Second Street and South Harrison Street for expired registration. The driver fled on foot, but was later arrested on suspicion of operating an uninsured vehicle, diving under revocation, displaying expired registration, driving without a motorcycle endorsement, warrants and obstruction.<\/p>\n<p>9:41 p.m.: An officer responded to the Skate Park, 1200 E. Montezuma Ave., for a man consuming alcohol in the park. He was arrested on suspicion of violation of bond conditions, open container and possession of alcohol in the park.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Saturday, July 4<\/div>\n<p>1:17 a.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on South Chestnut Street and Fourth Street for window tint violations. A man was arrested on suspicion of protection order violation, driving while license revoked, no proof of insurance, material on windows presented nontransparent appearance and possession of drug paraphernalia. A woman with him was arrested on warrants.<\/p>\n<p>10:30 a.m.: An officer responded to City Market Fuel Center, 506 E. Main St., and arrested a man for trespassing after observing him on the property and allegedly flipping off passersby.<\/p>\n<p>11:22 a.m.: An officer responded to Montezuma Park, 15 W. Montezuma Ave., for people on the stage without a reservation. A man was arrested for trespassing in city parks.<\/p>\n<p>1:06 p.m.: An officer responded to Centennial Park, 800 E. Montezuma Ave., for a welfare check on people sleeping in the grass. A man was arrested for trespassing in city parks after being banned and possession of alcohol in the park. He had a BRAC of .400.<\/p>\n<p>1:25 p.m.: Officers responded to Safeway, 1580 E. Main St., for shoplifting. A man and woman were issued citations for the theft and given a permanent ban from the store.<\/p>\n<p>3:42 p.m.: An officer responded to Centennial Park, 800 E. Montezuma Ave., and issued a woman a citation for open container and possession of alcohol in the park, plus a one-month ban from city parks.<\/p>\n<p>3:43 p.m.: An officer responded to the Skate Park, 1200 E. Montezuma Ave., and arrested a man on suspicion of possession of alcohol in the park.<\/p>\n<p>5:21 p.m.: An officer responded to North Harrison Street and East Montezuma Avenue and issued a man a citation for open container.<\/p>\n<p>6:54 p.m.: An officer responded to the area of Elevated Liquors, 530 N. Broadway, for a disturbance. A woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se and driving without a valid license. She was released to a sober party.<\/p>\n<p>8:08 p.m.: An officer responded to MacArthur Avenue and Broadway for a speeding vehicle. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DWAI, speeding 25-39 MPH over the speed limit, illegal possession of alcohol and marijuana by an underage person, open container in a vehicle and reckless driving.<\/p>\n<p>8:57 p.m.: Officers responded to a residence on North Sligo Street for an unwanted person. A woman was arrested on warrants and for allegedly obstructing a peace officer after hiding in a bathroom.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Sunday, July 5<\/div>\n<p>1:40 a.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop at Pine Street and West Second Street for a one-way violation. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, failure to provide proof of insurance, violation of one-way roadways and possession of open alcohol container in a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>12:53 p.m.: An officer responded to Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., for an open container report and issued a man a citation. The man was banned from city parks for a day.<\/p>\n<p>5:22 p.m.: An officer responded to 2200 E. Main St. for a vehicle off the roadway. The woman driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or more and driving without a valid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n<p>7:36 p.m.: An officer responded to Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., and arrested a woman on a warrant.<\/p>\n<p>9:05 p.m.: An officer responded to Sleeping Ute Apartments, 516 S. Madison St., for an attempted bicycle theft. A man was issued a citation for trespassing.<\/p>\n<p>10:06 p.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop near McDonald\u2019s, 1322 E. Main St., on a report of a drunk driver. The man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, prohibited use of weapons and open container.<\/p>\n<p>10:53 p.m.: Officers responded to the area of Denny\u2019s, 2059 E. Main St., for a physical altercation. A man was arrested on a warrant and issued a citation for open container, littering and interfering.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Monday, July 6<\/div>\n<p>6:31 a.m.: An officer responded to a residence on South Linden Street for an assault between sisters. The suspect woman was later issued a citation for harassment.<\/p>\n<p>10:45 a.m.: An officer responded to Municipal Court, 125 N. Roger Smith Ave., for a man held in contempt of court. He was arrested and transported to the Montezuma County Detention Center.<\/p>\n<p>10:24 p.m.: An officer responded to Love\u2019s, 7006 U.S. Hwy. 160, and arrested a man on a warrant.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Tuesday, July 7<\/div>\n<p>1:45 p.m.: An officer responded to the Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St., to serve a warrant on a man.<\/p>\n<p>7:53 p.m.: An officer responded to Speedway, 921 E. Main St., and arrested a man on a warrant and for trespassing.<\/p>\n<p>7:59 p.m.: Officers responded to the area by Mi Mexico, 801 E. Main St., and arrested a man on warrants and for violation of a protection order.<\/p>\n<p>8:50 p.m.: An officer responded to Liquid Assets Liquor Store, 718 E. Main St., for a trespass after previous warnings. The man was arrested and issued a citation.<\/p>\n<p>11:31 p.m.: An officer responded to McDonald\u2019s, 1322 E. Main St., and arrested a man on two warrants.<\/p>\n<p>11:41 p.m.: An officer responded to 1311 N. Mildred Road for a protection order violation involving a man and woman on a motorcycle. The woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of a protection order.<\/p>\n<div class=\"naviga-element naviga-subheadline1\">Wednesday, July 8<\/div>\n<p>7:50 a.m.: An officer responded to Walmart, 1835 E. Main St., and arrested a man on a warrant.<\/p>\n<p>10:38 a.m.: An animal control officer responded to Sleeping Ute Apartments, 516 S. Madison St., for a report of a child abusing kittens. The father was issued a citation for animal cruelty and the kittens were impounded until the end of the court proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>4:24 p.m.: An officer responded to Veterans Park, 830 E. Main St., and arrested a man on a warrant.<\/p>\n<p>6:53 p.m.: An officer responded to Veterans Park, 830 E.
