He was taken to San Juan Regional Medical Center, where he died at 8:58 p.m. Jan. 21.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter Naranjo was notified about her late husband\u2019s passing, there were no emotions or remorseful response to the news,\u201d according to the affidavit.<\/p>\n<p>Naranjo was arrested by deputies and stated that she \u201cdid not want to speak without an attorney present,\u201d court records state.<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff\u2019s detectives reported that \u201csuspected blood spatters\u201d and \u201chuman tissue\u201d where found in Naranjo\u2019s hair, on her shirt and on her socks.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies advised they observed Naranjo remove white socks, which had \u201cnoticeable discoloration marks which looked consistent with blood.\u201d After removing them, she reportedly \u201cplaced them in the back of pants,\u201d concealing them, court records state.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about the location of the socks, Naranjo reportedly \u201clooked with a blank stare for a moment and did not verbalize where the socks were.\u201d However, she later \u201cremoved them from the back of her waistband of her pants\u201d and turned them over, the affidavit states.<\/p>\n<p>While sheriff\u2019s detectives photographed Naranjo, she reportedly stated, \u201cYou know I\u2019m not denying anything,\u201d according to the affidavit.<\/p>\n<p>The affidavit also states that she \u201cwalked up to the reflective glass window and stated, \u2018You\u2019re going to (expletive) prison dude.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Court records indicate Naranjo has been charged with second-degree murder and third-degree felony tampering with evidence in connection to this incident.<\/p>\n<p>She was arrested and booked at 3:28 a.m. Monday into the San Juan County Detention Center.
