Courtesy photo<\/span><span class=\"credit\">cca<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><p>Hanson Tsosie, 33, of Farmington, was indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday on charges including first-degree murder after being arrested Oct. 30 and booked in the San Juan County Detention Center, according to law enforcement officials.<\/p>\n<p>The charges stem from a Sept. 5, 2021 incident, in which he allegedly killed a woman by shooting her, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office for the District of New Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>He also faces two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of assault resulting in serious bodily injury, two counts of using and carrying a firearm to commit a crime of violence and one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office offered few details, but stated that Tsosie also was accused of shooting another woman and a man.
