La Plata County Humane Society will participate in the American Rescue Dog Show Adoption Marathon from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Humane Society, 1111 South Camino del Rio.
All dog adoption fees for puppies, adults and seniors will be 50% off during the marathon.
In addition to finding homes for dogs, the Humane Society has a chance to receive one of several cash grants.
