The city of Durango is partnering with Ride Responsible to sponsor free Durango Transit service for Taste of Durango on Sunday.
A free shuttle between the La Plata County Fairgrounds and the Durango Transit Center will run about every 20 minutes from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. All Durango Transit routes will also be free during normal operating hours, 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The mission of Ride Responsible, a program of Celebrating Healthy Communities, is to offer alternatives to drunken driving.
