I think Ted Compton would be a great asset on the La Plata Electric Association board of directors. I have served on the board of FastTrack Communications for many years, the last seven with Compton. I have been impressed with his thoughtfulness and business sense.
Compton serves on the FastTrack finance committee that I chair. In that capacity, we are responsible for reviewing financial matters, including the annual audit, monitoring investment of company funds and making recommendations to the full board. Compton is highly capable and appreciates that financial decisions will impact the company's owners (LPEA and Empire Electric) as well as the company's broadband customers.
Compton has the experience and the integrity to help LPEA remain fiscally responsible as they “Power Ahead” into the future. I encourage you to vote for Ted Compton for LPEA District 3 representative as soon as your ballot arrives in the mail.
