Since there are thousands of homicides a year as a result of gun violence, with many of these guns legally purchased, why don’t we just leave our flags at half-staff to honor those killed? How can we in good conscience fly our flags high with so many gun-related deaths and gun laws that apparently do nothing to reel in these tragedies?
