I have read so much negativity coming from a large portion of La Plata County concerning Americans For Prosperity being located in Durango. I would encourage people to get all of the facts before they start being so judgmental.
This organization does outstanding work with veterans and the Concerned Veterans of America group is a part of this network. They also provide great educational opportunities. I have had the pleasure of attending some of the events in Durango and was very pleased with the information provided. They are located all over the country and have a very talented group of people working with their network. AFP is the largest grass-roots advocacy group in the country. If you want to get involved and learn about different policies and issues around the country while receiving some wonderful training opportunities, I would encourage you to get to know your AFP rep in Durango.
