A family Halloween event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Powerhouse Science Center MakerLab, 1333 Camino del Rio.
Crafty, spooky, scientific projects, including pumpkin carving, paper circuits, light-up pumpkins and glow-in-the-dark slime, will be featured.
Cost is $5 to $10 per participant, per activity. The celebration is open to all.
