Sexual Assault Services Organization will host a human trafficking training for the community from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at SASO, 701 Camino del Rio.
The training will discuss how to:
Identify signs of human trafficking.Understand different types of human trafficking.Support victims of human trafficking.Spread awareness in communities.The law enforcement-specific training will discuss:
Common indicators of human trafficking.Colorado’s human trafficking statues.Key elements of a victim-centered human trafficking investigation.Core evidence in human trafficking cases.This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited.
