During Donald Trump’s campaign rally I heard him mock the “me too” movement. I heard the man who is supposed to represent the American people trivialize and dismiss the thousands of victims, mostly women, of sexual misconduct and assault.
It was bad enough that he calls any media outlet that dares to criticize him the enemy of the people or refers to Democrats as evil. But now, to turn women who have been sexually assaulted into a joke is beyond words.
How any decent human being with any moral integrity can stand by, allowing this to happen baffles me.
His administration embraces coal and the use of pesticides, he loves asbestos, thinks a little radiation is okay and dismisses science.
He loves dictators, has alienated our allies, has divided the country, attacked the free press, and now has trivialized women who have been sexually assaulted while portraying men as the victims in all this.
The saying goes, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” It is time we did something.
