The Ignacio School District Board of Education is seeking nominations for school director candidates to be placed on the ballot for election, scheduled Nov. 7.
Two directors will be elected for four-year terms. Qualifying candidates must be registered electors in the school district for a minimum of 12 consecutive months before the election.
Prospective candidates must submit a written intention to run and have a nomination petition signed by at least 25 registered electors. Petitions can be picked up at the Ignacio School District Administration Office, 455 Becker St., and must be submitted by 2 p.m. Sept. 1.
