Beginning March 9, there will be a vacancy in the office of district judge for the Sixth Judicial District, which serves La Plata and Archuleta counties. The vacancy is created by the retirement of Judge William L. Herringer.
Applicants must be qualified electors of the Sixth Judicial District at the time of investiture and must have five years of experience practicing law in Colorado.
The current annual salary for this position is $178,452.
